When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. When you save a listing, leave a review, or claim a business, we store that activity against your account. When you contact us, we store the name, email, and message you provide.
We use your information to operate So So Local — showing your saved places, attributing your reviews, verifying business claims, and responding to inquiries. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use Mapbox to render interactive maps and, optionally, the Google Places API to source business photos and contact details. These providers may process limited data (such as your IP address) under their own privacy policies when their components load on our pages.
We use a single, essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can update or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. You can remove individual saved listings or reviews from within the app.
